But it's also likely they team is aware of the problems too. Many of them often play as well and will run into the same issues as the rest of us. They just work on it and release the patch as soon as possible. Rather than making an announcement of the bug

@fathom wing, thanks for helping me hash it out. Atm, I'm actually starting to think that it was a windows update that has caused some sort of shit with video players specifically. There was an update about 5 days ago... and I think it has been since then. One of my friends clubs that runs a video player using Udon doesn't crash me, but it doesn't play sound which is strange. I remember it playing a few days ago... so again, possibly right before the windows update. I'm going to try to do some driver updates and reinstall VRC and such.

I think the admins should add where u can search skins! Some people are losing data to stuff like updates and also acc transfers and they lose favorite avatars too, and someone else needs to have the avatar equipped in order for someone to actually view the creator of the skin where u can see avatar worlds plus what if you have a avatar that isn’t from a avatar world? If you can search up avatars everything will be much easier

Text chat would heavily reduce if not partially destroy the immersive experience that is VRChat. 
Tho, that doesn't mean you can't participate without a mic
There is quite a few mutes out there, communicating trough gesturing or other means.
If you are willing to talk tho, you should just get a new mic.
That'll yield you the best experience.

Personally, while i dont "ignore" a person using TTS, i find TTS very akward and a conversation slower / killer
with TTS there not only no "emotions" but also do you A need to write your answhere which takes a long time and B once you send it reads start to finish without any pause or similar
This particularily gets bad whene you write a response to someone but a different person started talking back at the original and you just clicked send

Is it the latest IK changes that makes it so people appear in different locations if they've spent a significant time in a map? It seems to be more of an issue in sleeping worlds considering a lot of people spend a lot of time there.

@jovial pulsar There's a known issue where some people are slightly offset in local/remote positions-- its a fairly odd bug and we're looking into it, hard to track down apparently but we're on it

I've not heard that expression before, that's a good one 😛 Although I wouldn't consign it to any given group of people-- there's legit feedback and constructive criticism we get all the time. We've got a lot of stuff to work on, and unlike huge companies we don't have effectively infinite resources. Lots of triage going on.
