Unless there ToS or alike says it aint allowed (what it doesnt for just uploading content) you should be fine.
You can try emailing them but the normal rule is that if you add content onto a game/video such like commentary or editing (in this case, uploaded content counts falls also under adding things) its transformed enough to be fine.

Last night i learned that if you have avatar download limit set to no limit in Vrchat, a lot of avatars from people will not load. I now have it set to 250mb and I haven't had any loading problems with peoples avatars.

Yesterday I played VRChat on my computer for the third time in my life (unfortunately I don't have a headset)
I found a server where there was a bit of silence. But then came 2 really good people who really improved my mood. I immediately added them to my friend list and they accepted my request. We promised to meet again today. I watch the social section all day if they are not online. But when I looked in this section, I couldn't find them. I opened my account, and it was written there that I have 0/0 friends. I was quite sad about it and so far I am. I'd advice against thumbstick press as much as possible and go for button instead since from my experience with my touch controllers thumbstick presses will destroy your thumbstick in the long run(stick drifts and stuff)
or just add hand gestures to steamvr inputs so users can bind them as they want. Would also be useful for index users I imagine

Update on my issue.
Today I received an email advising me to upgrade my VRChat account and link it to Steam. Although I had a problem with it at first, but then I managed it. I logged in again via Steam, but I still didn't see any friends. Therefore, I log out again and logged in via VRChat. And something great happened. All my friends have reappeared! I'm so happy! @vocal shard the unity package probably had an older SDK bundled in it, breaking your SDK installation. You may have to reinstall the SDK to fix it.
(and remember to check the list of things getting imported in those packages in the future)

I said youre limited to the vrc mobile shaders. and those are pretty basic shaders because of the quests hardware limitations
closest thing you could do is make a rainbow texture. So it doesnt change color but has all the colors next to each other
