Did anyone else just lose a few avatars? I had one from " godfall cozy kamui's World " the avatar with one wing but it says "avatar not available now" and in that avatar world quite a few avatar options (the square icon showing avatars you can clone) have yellow and black maintenance signs on them instead? (they were not flying or bannable just normal avatars)

My best guess is you may be thermal throttling on the CPU, laptops don’t typically have good cooling solutions.

I originally thought it was a driver issue with the headset but windows installs the required drivers automatically and you can see the 1809 driver supposedly solves jittering https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/mixed-reality/enthusiast-guide/mixed-reality-software#windows-10-version-1803-april-2018-update-and-version-1809-october-2018-update

It just needs atleast some points of reference for the tracking. I would play in dim room with just a desk lamp, but any less light than that and the Controllers would fly off and the headset would loose tracking

Everything until it works. Update your drivers, clean your cache, uninstall and reinstall VRC, make sure there are no background activities going on (Any unnecessary apps, updates, etc), and after you tried everything start googling about everything.

To rank up you need to play the game, nothing fancy nothing special. Just playing the game unlocks it (afking or trying to bypass it wont work).

I'm not sure if the 1050 Ti is good enough for VR. If it beats the 960 (maybe also 970) in benchmarks, and has at least 4gb vmemory, it might be fine. Otherwise I wouldn't recommend it

Even then, people will make custom shaders which crash you. You can prevent this by banning custom shaders, but that's not a good solution..
If you could give every avatar its own thread in rendering or something like that, it might work, but I don't think it's a realistic idea

If you find a group of people to hang out with, you don't have to worry anymore. You can go to public and friends+ worlds daily and get crashed less than once a month no problem. As long as you or a friend create the custom world, and don't join a huge pre-existing one. You should also avoid making public instances of the very most popular worlds

Sure the FOV is smaller in comparrison to the VR thing, but considering you do capture it for a desktop screen which is exactly what that renderer is for, i think it's fine.

You need a significant amount of reports/incidents to get banned, and even then the banning process is extensive to avoid false banning. But that doesn't mean it doesn't happen, but you can always just appeal your ban
