Rift S is LCD RGB and not OLED Pentile like Quest. Quest has the same resolution as Vive Pro and Index except it’s OLED pentile. Rift S being slightly lower but RGB means it’s actually sharper. So much so that Oculus says they wished they had used Rift S screens on Quest.

I have a little story about my first couple hours in the pc version of vr chat. Now I somewhat fell in love with the game back when it was a HUGE deal in the beginning of 2018 and many streamers were playing all the time and I'd watch cause it was(most of the time) hilarious. I had no way to play until a few months ago upon release of the oculus quest. The quest version was pretty neat, I was pretty entertained with it overall, but knew(because i had seen so much gameplay) it was severely watered down compared to the pc version. Then I got a pc and rift s last week. When i played this time i was legitimately blown away. All these huge and expansive worlds. Being in some of my favorite games as a kid. And thats just what i saw in just 2-3 hours. Needless to say I'll be spending much more time in this.

You would just need to have it prepped for Unity editor by exporting it as an FBX.

Also before that you would need to setup the Vismes and Eye tracking for it.

CATs can do that but you would need to shape them from your end, there are really good vids out there for that too.

Trust me once you learn this for one model, any other model you wish to bring over to VRChat will click for you and you'll be flying through the process faster each time.

Heck you might end up porting models for your friends once you get the hang of it.

The key here is to not drop your attempt if you hit a wall with your project, see what's stopping you and get around it. The more you know how to counter the issues the easier it is for you to punch through at least 90% of issues!

I may sound like some cheesy superhero when I say this but don't give up on learning blender, even 50% of knowledge on that tool is a hell of a step forward.

the best comparison of this I can give -
Some people will go on VRC; hear the voice of someone of the opposite sex or whatever - and their internal emotions will take over and make them start chatting that person up.
Or some people will go on VRC and seek attention to feed internal issues/preferences.

In my scenario - I do not let any of my internal wants, needs or worries play part when I play games. Because it's pointless. So when I'm in VRC - I live in the moment and that moment alone. No future; no past exists during my VR time.
