yeah if you are dual booting or using vm/Clover, you should have at least 8gb of ram and a 4 core cpu

now idk exactly what hard drive you are using but you want a ssd as your boot drive, a mechanical drive for data in 2019. This is both for safety and performance.

The reason being if your Windows drive is 99% full, your hard drive will take more time going through its directory when you open a file and your system would be running seemingly slower.

There is a blender plugin out there that allows you to open VRM models and turn it into whatever file type you want... Then you can open it in cats... but at that point that takes more time than actually doing it manually

This can be amplified and happen faster because of bad habits/healthcare like no sleep, bad food, stress, loud sounds/lights and leaps more i cba to type out.

Yeah no ipd. The official range they say is lower than the actual usable range though. Heard reviewers from people 60-70 and they say it still works fine despite Oculus saying the range is smaller. Maybe they keep it small just to be safe

Physical IPD is a downside, but you can't judge the rift S by your CV1. Lenses are better on the S. And the IMU is much better than the CV1 as well. WMR has been going strong while lacking ipd adjustment as well. Myself am outside the "recommended range" and it still works comfortable. Watching reviewer who are also outside the rift S ipd range who say that they were suprised the the rift S fit their large ipd. Tested saying it even worked for ipd as low as kids

I RMA’d my base station twice. It was bad out of the box. First they sent it back without any changes 3 weeks later. Second time they sent it back fixed but without the front lens fully connected to the base station. They refuse both a refund as well as a replacement as it’s been longer than their warranty of only 14 days, all of which was spent in the RMA process.

Oh yes they’re bigger and worse but I’ve never been financially inconvienwnced by Facebook but I had to personally deal with HTC support screwing me over. I have never actually hated a company until HTC.

Somehow. Back in 2007, when Facebook was still college only email accounts, it was introduced to me and I hated the idea even before the lack of privacy stuff broke out. I stated I would not sign up for it as I hated the idea of using the internet under my real name
