it's stabilized, but slowly growing. Over the last several months its gone from an average of 4-6k players online to between 7-8k players. I bet by the end of the year we might start approaching an average of 10k users online if the trend continues

Vive trackers don't really track.
They just make a nice grid for the headset to know where they are.
So they only need power. The Oculus sensors do actually track and need enough bandwidth for that.

Check the stats and use online information to see.
Not all powered USB hubs work the same and I'm fairly sure you would need an extension card instead of a powerhub for what you want. But I don't have Oculus myself so..

It's also a good hobby. I didn't learn much from being addicted to MMOs. Just some English, maths and game-testing skills. But the things I'm learning in VRChat (a new language, 3D modeling, Unity game engine, shader code, etc) are all relevant for my future. VRChat's certainly changed my life, one way or another
Back when I was just starting out, I was an awkward shut-in, who'd didn't know what to expect. In some ways I still am.. I wasn't no mute when I started out, just not pretty comfortable having strangers.
However, a few days in, I've met another VRChatter, who I befriended with, and lost ourselves in time chatting about video games. From then on, I became a lot more comfy with VRChat, and its strangers.
As time and time went, from him, I've met more of his friends. They've invited me over games, which well.. I pretty much wasn't able to understand initially (Sorry).

So basically when I log into a lobby full of people, everyone appears to be the blue transparent default avatar for around 10 seconds and their loading bars start loading very slowly. But after those 10 seconds pass, I get a black screen and shortly after a loading screen that never ends. I've been trying to find a solution for days but couldn't find any yet

Does it only happen in big lobbies? Maybe your network connection is overloaded, causing photon or whatever it's called to disconnect (this is what causes a black screen)

That's not too bad specs. You should really investin a SSD though.

You can clean cache by deleting everything within C:\Users\%Username%\AppData\LocalLow\VRChat\vrchat apart from output_log.txt and config.json if you have them

If it only happens with a lot of people, that makes me think it's network related. If not speed, then something doesn't work properly with a big number of connections. Could be a router thing, or software (I had killer ethernet drivers. Had to remove them as they limited my internet to 30mbps despite having 500mbps. Piece of shit software that was.)

Big odds it is. Best would be to email support@vrchat.com Provide that outputlog we talked about (scroll up to see how to get it. The bot explained how to do it) and give context as to what the problem is and when it last worked.

Since then they also added an "avatar perform badge" to kinda show how optimized your avatar is. So things like a lot of dynamic bones and materials will lower the rating, but other than the badge it doesn't do anything.

Hey, I've been trying to figure something out for a while... How might I be able to make my own avatar by using a .obj (Off of Roblox Studio of my own avatar on there), Exporting it to FBX, Going to mixamo and auto-rigging, And then export it to VRChat?
I've been getting stuck at the auto-rigging part since Mixamo doesn't recognise the skeleton to be "On the body".
I'm completely new to this and have been trying to look for tutorials on YouTube, But none of them helped.

Yep. PS mover requires a "grab and drag" method using your arms, or otherwise launches you in sudden leaps. It can pass through things vertically but not horizontally.

For a jump/fly you use a box collider on your hip with an animator for the falling animation so you just have to jump and not use a gesture...
