I really wished the VRChat rules were more...not performance friendly. A lot of avatar worlds that I liked had just been nuked due to the rules, especially Stayss Birbs, which didn't even enforce lag really.It would be up for the player to have a limit of what polygons would be there and if the avatar is causing lag, they can enforce it. It just makes a lot of creators having to start over from scratch all over again due to the sudden rules.

Selecting him would display the player info of his victims instead, and i bet my rear end that any incoming blocks would transfer to his victims accounts, too. Just a few hours before i saw the actual copying happen, another guy tried getting other people to block him on purpose (generally insulting everyone while asking "why don't you block me!??"), so i suppose he was one of them, too, trying to get the user he copied banned -_-

I guess it has to be on the client to reject rendering another persons avatar that they shouldn’t be able to wear. That would make modded clients pointless as only they would see the stolen avatar no one else

AIUI this already happens for private avatars - but when you start talking about pedestal-only avatar assumptions things get complicated real fast. How much do VRChat's servers know about the state of the world, for example?

Can guess what one had 90 fps and the one i was jumping from 45 to 90 fps

You're right Kantus when you say a few don't matter. When you've got 20 people in a lobby though, all with their own IK, VOIP, Materials, bounds really high, etc, in a mirror, ALONG with all the map's processes, then you start having issues. That's why they have no place as Public World Avatars. They spread a lot faster due to being available to everyone.

It's the whole reason optimization is a community effort.
