it might? i had the issue for just my normal avatar because it had heels, but also was fine for animations.

Just raising the model it in unity won't change it if the bones aren't rigged properly (the game will sink the model to match the foot bone not the mesh)

Oh... You didn't animate a duplicate model?
If you animated the original model, and it crouched, than it broke. Thats why they say to duplicate the model first before doing any animations, and then apply that to the original model

I was testing dynamic bones and it looked fine
and it was moving in default a pose

so I don't understand why its pose is different now
it fixes it when I revert the model, but when I do that all my components delete :/
I think I'm just going to revert it and then copy and paste the components that I had for the scuffed model

It's in the floor because you added an animation controller and it has an anim set for idle.

Check the pinned message in #animation for how to fix it properly. There is a way to revert only the bone positions to prefab without losing all your work.
Also @spiral tulip check Pumkin's tools in #event-system-sdk2 to help you copy most of your stuff from one model to another one.

Only issue that keeps you from using WMR is if your processor is missing AVX instructions
Most Intel Core i3 and i5s have the instructions in the proccessor
Some AMD processors have them but I would look up your processor to make sure AVX is supported

If anyone here has ever reported a user through the vrchat website form, did you get contacted by the devs via email asking for more clarification or proofs? A few days ago I reported a crasher that hangs in public worlds using seizure-inducing screen shaders and crash people, I provided some pics as proof of it, but I also have a video recording of it that I haven't uploaded yet. The devs never got back to me via email so I hope they took action without needing any more proof of it. This was just before the ingame report button was implemented so I have a suspicion they didn't see the form at all since they have a new system now. 🤷
