Funny thing, I have a few friends with full body tracking. One of them manually inverts the hips of the model for full body usage, which means it'll be broken on non full body

You presumably need to play the game in a normal manner with your VRChat account, walking around, meeting people and also making some friends. Idling won't help.
According to many responses in this discord the typical time this takes seems to roughly be between 20-40 hours but big exceptions are possible.
Make sure you are not using a steam account by accident because those can not be verified and continue playing the game until you get a notification or e-mail.

I'm going to offer some cronstructive criticism here. I've seen a huge decline in the amount of friends on recently. I've asked them why they don't get on much, and they've all said that they're bored of the game. I think the camera update was great, but not enough. First of all, we need to raise the poly limit to at least 60k. I know everyone mods the SDK already, but it's way more convenient to have it set as 60k in the SDK when you load it in Unity. We also need some new features, such as a messaging system. If you go to someone's profile, you can see Mute, Block, Unfriend, Vote to Kick, and that's about it. This game is called VRChat after all. Secondly, when someone sends an invite and it's declined, the person receiving should have to select an option. (AFK, Busy, Testing, In Gamemode, or Other where you can type a reply.) If something doesn't get added soon, it could mean a decline in the amount of players daily. I love this game, but it needs a few more features.

You "can" use a phone if you have something like trinus to link it with steamvr, but you still need a vr ready pc, and your phone needs to be higher end

I never had to wait because my account was from before they added that, so i don't think you need to wait. You can email them asking for a name change, and they will change it. No need to make a new account. Check the #faq for the email to change your name

If you have an old account you're grandfathered in. If it's a new account then you have a time restriction.
The time restriction isn't static to make sure you don't just afk to fill the requirements.
Being muted, reported, etc will go against your wait time.

I guess it shouldn't be that hard @idle cipher . As long as you're playing desktop mode and using the ps4 controller like you're playing skyrim or something? left stick to move, right to look around. use a button for the menu.
