Yeah I used to do that in Zmodeler with reference front, side and rear profile of cars.

takes like 3mins to setup correctly so that you have a front and side view

Still takes a bit of skill to convert the angles that aren't visible on pictures, but that's probably a case of "The more you do it, the better you become at it"

you should maybe try out google's blocks if you own a vr device, it's freeware on steam. basically a very simple 3d modelling tool in vr.

That could make some basic low poly prototypes 😮

saw some pretty cool models created with it and you can also export it as an fbx and import it then into blender for cleanup and rigging work

And with the depth perception of VR, you can roughly measure on 3 axis.

Maybe just as a basic "frame", then start increasing the poly count in Blender. Instead of starting from just... a box. And not knowing what to do with it. XD

@wide sonnet Grab your output log (If you've restarted vrchat since being crashed that's.... uhh, well the log gets reset each time you start vrchat) and send an email to moderation@vrchat.com and attach the log to it. If you know who crashed you, mention their username in the email.

Also steam accounts will never ever (As mentioned in first link) have uploading access. Make a VRchat account and play if you plan on ever uploading content. Previous playtime on steam account is not taken into trust system approval consideration.
EDIT: https://vrchat.canny.io/feature-requests/p/connect-steam-to-vrchat-account has been marked in progress, friends and such should follow with. However I still HEAVILY recommend you make a VRchat account to play, especially if you haven't had your steam account for too long yet.

We're just starting getting work on the drones that will follow people around in their daily lives and physically keep them from playing during their ban. 😛
On a more serious note, the unfortunate reality is there is pretty much always going to be a way to bypass bans.

I understand that but what I was saying is to make a bigger inconvience, aka let's say someone, got banned for 4 years by hardware, then bypassed it and got back, if you simply made it so since they are banned for those 4 years they are put into "VR Jail" so if they managed to bypass before those 4 years they are just stuck, in game, without anything to do with just the main avatars to choose from not even their own, then after those 4 years of when they shoulda not been in game they can come back

Considering that since the ban wouldn't be on their ip or hardware yet on their account itself then they are forever tortured with being trapped to do nothing and being forced to actually wait those 4 years

Steam logins have 4 seemingly random numbers and letters after the name (Such as Gallium a43e) whereas vrchat accounts don't. Unless you actually put some in as part of your username.

Becoming verified by the trust system is based on reaching a certain trust score, which's exact algorithm is unknown to prevent exploitation.

You presumably need to play the game in a normal manner with your VRChat account, walking around, meeting people and also making some friends. Idling won't help.
According to many responses in this discord the typical time this takes seems to roughly be between 20-40 hours but big exceptions are possible.

Make sure you are not using a steam account by accident because those can not be verified and continue playing the game until you get a notification or e-mail.

with that model, it might have a different issue. the arms look like they could longer than the legs, so the vrchat scaling could seem odd when in game. just a thought. but the rig looks good. might not be an issue at all

Part of the problem with moderating VRChat is that people can create multiple instances of the same place. That would require a large amount of active mods to monitor everything.

So if you cannot monitor everything, then you need ways to automate the monitoring, such has audio logs. Which would be a nightmare to store.

Then you have the fun part of aligning them.

$99 per tracker (3x), and about $120 each for two lighthouses.

I want to share a little anecdote
I'm dealing with some family issues right now, and I'm being punished for something as silly as admitting to looking at porn
my parents didn't take this lightly whatsoever and told me no internet and took my phone away
but I can't just sit in my room in silence (isn't that solitary confinement?), so I snuck on my computer like I'm doing now, and talked to my friends
I got so hopeless because I thought I had a way out of this house, but it fell through and I just broke down in tears on the floor
I couldn't take it anymore and got on VRChat, where my friends were and they let me cry quietly and grossly while they surrounded me, petting me and comforting me
I had to whisper into my mic with the volume maxed so I don't get caught, but i was able to communicate with them well enough
I don't have a VR headset of any kind, but these friends I've made on here are infinitely more important than ever getting one (though I do really want to get one as soon as possible)
last night I was actually considering suicide, and my friends on VRChat saved my life. They genuinely saved me from ending it all. Don't let anyone downplay the sense of community and friendship you share with friends you meet online. VRChat made their comforting feel all the more real, even through a desktop monitor, through their petting, gesturing, and positional audio.
Please keep up the work on the game, and I hope the friendships and community created in this virtual space last forever
