But just seperate by material and apply the decimate modifier to the point just before it starts looking bad, repeat for every high-poly material and then merge things again with CATS when you're done

everyone should use an escrow system, a third and trusted party that will take the commission money and keep it until the avatar is delivered, the escrow will then test the avatar and unlock the found if everything is ok. For a fee of course % of the total cost.

"an hour"? seems a bit much. It depend of your internet speed for the most part. Some maps are huge, but none should require 1 hour, unless you have dialup connexion speed

I'm uploading an avatar right now and several times has went through the entire process, and even gave me the message for it uploading successfully, yet, when I get in-game to check the avatars panel and when I check the "manage uploaded content" panel in Unity, I don't see it there.

@alpine cove the body is hmm a standard biped, nothing special with the cloths and the hairs are quite straight forward to do, give it a shot, i would go the zbrush route for the face

The avatars i used/fixed/looked at almost never had more then 10 special materials and animation pro's know how to optimize things good enough so they dont need all 10 spots unless its for special materials like for hair

One thing too is that if you're using public wifi and someone gets banned, there can be collateral damage. Their system isn't good at deciphering who is part of who and who isn't.
Hence why the false accusation could have happened.
