In case you aren't familiar. When you close the game. The window will pop up. You'll be able to click "show on disk" to see the files and attach them to your report

Mechanical ones seem nice, but I don't like noise. Also it's easier to write fast on smaller buttons, if they're too tall you waste time pressing them (I know because I have a G19 at home)

My guess is that the modified client can still copy any users avatars when used on a Steam account
the gating is supposed to regulate uploading content

I'm not sure exactly how they could fix the issue, but the system seems pointless when cheaters are 100% unrestricted as long as they remember an avatar ID or have a friend with a VRChat account

Furthermore, they have to request the stolen avatar in order to change into it, the server should here check if the avatar is private or not (and if it's private, check for permissions)
how it most likely works is that the clients request the id of the persons in room without the server checking if that person is in room or not
If you go to the API for a player in a private world, the API will refuse to tell you the world ID, it will just display "hidden" instead. So it's doable to hide or refuse things
which means that if a wrong id i spoofed they would request a differend id effectively changeing the avatar

When requesting an ID, it should refuse it if it's private (even if it's on a pedestal), that would solve the first issue.
Checking if the avatar exists on a pedestal in the world or in the current users avatars would be another big improvement

you know if they authed the avatars with a steam client id you'd never be able to use another persons avatar by stealing it. Maybe link steam or a specific phrase to the account. Or even better a hash of your passwords hash. All only serverside, and none of this info would be requestable. If anything goes wrong inbetween this and the client loading the avatar it just loads the blocked avatar.
Steam 64bit id's are long and require you to know the persons steam account

then you're outta luck

@vast tulip having the karts actually respawn if you fall off the map is definitely a neat addition, i don't remember that feature being there before ๐
it's still a bit hard to rescue karts which are flipped upside down since they don't seem to have the respawn button on them, but it's easy enough to start a new session if we wind up flipping over every single one of them
i'm not too sure whether the two attached photos are intentional or somewhat unavoidable, but in the first one, there's a visible cube near the player spawn point that's got some kind of script attached to it (the background music, i'm guessing?).
the second photo, the first jump-ramp in the course seems to display the shadows of objects behind it -- i'm not too sure if that's a unity quirk or just a result of how the geometry of the stage was made.

I take it the server capacity will be reduced, potentially reducing business costs, potentially less bandwidth usage as people won't need to download heaps of unique avatars each time they enter a room, and less download time for everyone to download avatars
I run 2mbs down and it takes ~20mins to load people

When I'm playing with triggers i want to be sure it updated since there normally isn't a visual change so i move the cube a bit. Nothing is attached to it. I started to leave it intentionally because people were always so confused by it

Allows you to map Upper Chest, but VRChat does not support that at all.
So for Mixamo rigs, you usually have an unmapped bone below the chest slot
