My suggestion, upload a avatar ready for uploading to get acquainted with the process first. Then work on custom or ripped avatars later. The hardest parts are: Understanding armature and textures in unity & preparation of an avatar in blender or other modeling software

Pan. Have u tried using vpn? It happens to me too cuz my isp using something like ip pooling, so vrc servers think im flooding their servers with users shares ip pool as me

(uploaded avatars only) if they don't match then you force the user with the wrong id to display the/a default avatar? it should be easy to implement right? Poly count only has a minor impact on avatar lag. The main things that cause lag are when people don't texture atlasing and too many dynamic bones

#

Also, PNG files are one of the best resource efficient image file types. Not many are better

#

To be honest I think only TIF is better than PNG but could be wrong as it has been a bit since I messed with image files

Does anyone happen to know if there is any way to change the control layout on the HTC Vive's controllers for VRChat? My wife has a hard time with them becuase she has Cerebral Palsy and has a hard time using her left side, but she would like to be able to move around using the right controller instead of the left. Currently, she just has the controllers switched, but she gets tired of crossing her arms, becuase if she doesn't cross her arms when she switches the controllers, then the avatars arms get crossed.
