Even then it wouldn't work, since photogrammetry works because the physical surface being reconstructed is consistent across the different photos. Getting a drawing to be that perfect would take more skill and practice than learning how to model it yourself via traditional means.
tl;dr, learn character modeling. You'll pick up loads of useful techniques for other stuff on the way.

The reverse works though. v1 lighthouses will work with devices with either v1 or v2 sensors.

What I try to remember is that the software is handled by a small team who are recently dealing with some incredibly tough scaling issues due to an unexpected upswing in popularity

I'd be fine with it if they were like "Ok we made a mistake blah blah blah" even if they gave me the standard 24h ban I'd be much happier with that.

Currently there is a unintended workaround to use the animation override system to do a bit more than simply change your animations on your avatar. People are changing out the hand gestures to have different "face poses", pull out weapons and such.
