The issues with leaving a computer on for an extended time is that main consumer computers do not have redundancy checks like ECC registered ram.
And so it was taught a long time ago to people like me by my parents to turn the computer off when your done using it, to avoid data curroption, and general bugs for long term running.
That's why the concept of "Turn it on and off again" was so common in the IT department.

It was mainly setting up for full body, which vrchat supports so it might not be registering your headset as a display.

I work at Harvey Norman in Australia and they have just listed the price for the vive pro as $1199 AUD which is around $940 USD.
It is listed as an add-on so I don't know if it comes with the lighthouse boxes.
It is the RRP so I doubt it will release at that price. What I think they are going to do is release it at $999 AUD ($780 USD) and change the price of the original vive to $799 ($620 USD) I've checked both of them and there is enough margin in the product to do this

Polycount does have an impact on performance, but it's not as significant as people make it out to be.
Things like dynamic bone scripts, lots of materials (over 6 or so), multiple skinned meshes (meshes bound to a rig for deforming), are the things users have control over when it comes to avatar performance.
There's things like IK calculations, audio, and general network sync stuff that also take up processor time but there's little we can do about those.
If you're at or above the min spec for VRChat, a 10k and a 20k and a 40k poly model won't make much noticable difference.

If it's a world you visited recently, your output log might contain some info on the world, which could help the moderation team look into it further.
You could send an email with your outputlog attached to moderation@vrchat.com . If you know the approximate time you visited this world, that would probably also help (As the outputlog works on timestamps).

Nyano, that doesn't actually work. You have to detach the avatar ID and reattach it to a box in order for them to lose the avatar. But, for people like myself that don't have the original unity packages anymore then you're basically sol.

@lilac swan Remember a few days ago I was talking about customizing/editting the AvatarControllerTemplate to support left and right hand gestures separated?
Unfortunarly, I figured out that VRChat actually has it's own build-in controller, and it only uses your own template to take out the costum animations. In other words, it is impossible to edit and upload your own controller.
However, the wish is there that VRChat will eventually allow us to use custom made avatar controllers. So all we can do now is wait and see...

I can handle where the game moves while I don't move. But when the game crashes and freezes, and I move while the game does not move (aka the oposite) I get motion sick really fast.

Any time you get to just "talk" with mods/VRchat employees over discord is basically if we feel like it, especially with the case of VRchat issues and not discord related ones.

Does anyone know how to fix how slow the download speed of maps and stuff are? I just redownloaded the game in 5 minutes to reset but its still REALLY slow only in game.

I'd reccomend using the headset alone for a while in your playspace before deciding to get full body, that way you can guage how much energy and stamina you have for it ect.

@fallen flint this is just my experience with it, but I'm using a gaming laptop, not hardwired and things take forever to load, hardwired is almost perfect and I can have solid framerate with 20 people using an oculus with three seasons. Also if you've never been in said map usually first time loading is longer
But on average it takes like 15-30 seconds depending on the map for me
