and thats how they use your avatar

So simply change the ID of your avatar and reupload it, and they won't have your avatars ID anymore

i used to be able to play in desktop mode fine, i got my rift today and can play oculus games, steamvr home, mcosu, etc, but when i open vrchat it says unresponsive and loads for a minute and throws me into an empty grid room, this is what it looks like on my desktop when im in vr, and also even when i close all vr programs and related things launching in desktop mode gives the same looking window, i've tried reboot, restarting steam, running as admin, starting steamvr and oculus in different orders, reinstalling vrchat, deleting cache

There's a limit for polys somewhere around the 64k area where Unity has to split it into a separate object for... reasons. That causes a second draw call and does stuff to performance.

sound fx work fine, I can hear music in void club backroom because it's an audio source with a file bundled in the map file (or something?) but I can't hear it in the dance floor because the music is streaming supposedly?

I don't make maps so I don't know the specifics

but it seems like web requests don't work at all

same goes for youtube panels

I've only seen one working youtube panel 2 weeks ago in a forest campfire map, all other youtube panels have always been blank white
