@shadow wraith Always make backups, VRChat servers go down and up all the time and the game is always growing. So if something goes wrong on their end you should always make sure to have backups on your end.

so if I read this correctly then its just as I said, the guy that used the exploit didnt restart the client, thats why he still had it since the client doesnt update existing avatars 90% of the time, I dont see any indication of him actually restarting it

I'm gonna post this here and hopefully a dev may see it. I didn't think much about social games as I've always been a competitive gamer but tonight I talked with random people in the same bar for almost 3 hours just about life, dreams, and everything in between and it was one of the most zenlike things I've done in the last year or so. I recently got out of school and joined the work force and moved away from most of the people I know and this is one of the first times I've felt really calm/fulfilled in awhile. I didn't think something like VRchat could do that but I'm really thankful and impressed. It makes me look forward to mmos in the future with the same technology.

Willing to pay $30 if someone can help me with the issue my VR is giving me, please DM me. My VR is now acting as a "second monitor" and not allowing me to use direct mode or extend the screens so it acts as a VR and not a second screen. I updated all my graphics drivers, unplugged everything, uninstalled everything, installed everything at least 3 times. No fixes.

@turbid agate I had this issue after the last steam vr update, look in your oculus library and you should see steamvr.exe (or something of that nature) and launch it through there.

I would unplug the vr system then check your display to see if your monitor is your main screen have you tried other ports for your vr system
