Reports only matter if what your world has violates ToS. Some people just rage report worlds for no reason or think reporting worlds is how you report users, or they're just stupid and think "reports = immediate ban from vrc" so they mass report for no reason

Hey for those who sleep in VR chat do you think you get better sleep than without? Also if you have phantom touch do you think the constant sleep in VR has helped?

Sleeping with a illumination source on your face definitely doesn't make sleep better.
Neither does the constant face pressure or heat.

There's many people that can sleep like this, but it's the opposit of better.

Additionally just like a TV / Tablet or such would be.
You have distraction that can hinder the fall asleep phase, or even wake you up every now and then. (Especilly if you leave audio on)

unless you use ALVR/SteamLink/VirtualDesktop

Launching SteamVR just forwards data to it.

with their own rendering engines and without needing the oculus software at all

i.e. there is no native tracking, you do the tracking somewhere else and send the results via OSC to vrchat

Hey! Sorry for bothering. But i believe that people here would have decent experience on this topic.
For finishing high school (currently 18 yo) my father has decided to gift me whatever i wish for, worth maximum of 500€.

I have debated and decided that i would want to buy myself a VR headset (instead of a decent 3d printer xP) and have looked for what is currently on the market.

My preference was a decent quality PCVR (main use) headset and standalone could be optional (but PCVR support would be a must have).
From the resources i found for PCVR in the budget of 500€ the Pico Neo 3 Link should be decent adn appears to be slightly better than the quest 2 for PCVR gaming, though i have heard some things that make me sceptical about it.
It was supposed to be a quest 2 (with the almost exact same specs) for the eastern market, as in that region some countries have banned Facebook and thus the quest 2 with the requirement of a Facebook account couldn't be used there.
The only reviews i can find are from 2 years ago and maximum of 1 year ago, and I only found one, that actually talks about the steam VR settings problems and the fixes that have been made over the months.
There have been many updates to it, that were fixing a handful of PCVR Steam VR setting issues, like the resolution being flipped (width and height numbers switched ¯_(ツ)_/¯) and a handful more things like minor colour distortion and other things that have been worked on together by the pico discord community and the devs themselves. Though the only most recent updates i have found about it, are 1+ year ago. Which makes me question, if it is now in a stable state or not.
Also I am not completely familiar with the VR market so any advice or experience with anything regarding this topic, would be appreciated ^^.

Quest 2 no longer working well for vrc. Mine lasted a long time and was convenient since I don't have a pc due to traveling a lot for work. Now it can barely handle a lot of worlds.

It's just about time when this game probably demands more in the future as the Quest 2 gets aged up. I remember it used to struggle to even load a public world on my end with how many people there was (20 people or more), and it already kicked me back to my home world due to it used up all the system memory the Quest 2 offers
