that's what I use a VPS for if I host anything at home, I'm not expecting one, but better safe than sorry, never had one happen, and idk about Ivacy etc how well they protect, but I never had my VPN disconnect on me so I'd count that as it works well :')

Ivacy (which is basically just purevpn but can be found way cheaper, the login (you need to request from support) also works on the openvpn files of purevpn, so the only difference is you pay ivacy, really)

they use datapacket which is a good host I guess, no M247, where I live M247 always has issues and sometimes one gets 200ms and 10Mbps if connected to the VPN just because M247 is so bad, so I'm glad they switched over (over 90% of VPN's use M247 in my country, if they even have my country at all)

The cable I have uses QC, but I have to plug it in with a certain order (power brick, headset, 10 seconds, PC) for my Quest 2.

You can sideload a power monitoring app (I use Accubattery) to check the current and voltage.

It's also possible that the cable is too long/not thick enough to handle power over a distance and it's refusing the PD connection. That or maybe Meta decided to lock PD behind their own cable/brick somehow.
