Rank goes both ways. Up and down. Look at it like a score. At specific levels you rank up or rank down. A wide range of actions either give or take away from your score. There would be no way to know for sure as a random person, but some things that go into rank are like being muted, blocked, hidden, unfriended, unfriending people, etc. One common reason amongst many others, could be playing music through your mic in public lobbies, as that can often get you blocked, hidden or muted. But again, there are many causes.

quick inquiry, I'm a quest 2 standalone, and I kept rejoining the sly fest world, which kept crashing me out but prior attempts after 13 or so crashes I finally get in, this time around it was about 30+ attempts because I'm patient, and randomly came up with a thing of "Failed to authenticate real time servers" every time I join even my home world, I rebooted my internet, rebooted the headset, rebooted the game, and reinstalled the game all together. It's AMD being crappy wtih their codex support. You can.. "solve" it by using this launch flag --disable-hw-video-decoding
As the flag mentions, it disables hardware rendering on video in game. Results mare vary depending on how well your computer can handle software rendering.

With bloom it looks fine, without it looks flat, lacks color, and in general looks like garbage

No matter how I set up my emission this is the result

I have yet to really have a way to make emission look good, when it doesnt really "emit" much of anything

I'm open to suggestions but as far as I'm concerned there is no way to make emission look good without bloom, or some way to show its emitting any light, cause it otherwise just looks like I disabled shading on whatever gets emission and it looks like garbage

Any information you provide as proof against another person, needs to be verified. Log files. Screen shots. Videos. It can all be faked. It requires a person looking at the totality of the situation and making an informed judgment about what action to take against an account. This process should not be quick, nor should it only involve someone making a post in discord or checking a singular source or one dude going to one mod on discord. Requiring a proper report and proper documentation and a proper chain of command and report structure is how things should be for everyone's protection against malicious actors and just making tracking, sorting and using their support data for various report generations or just making support more feasible with a small team.. So if you want to be helpful, and want to have expedient action, provide a range of documentation and ask others affected to do the same, block the user and move on with enjoying the game. Yeah, unfortuantely laptops just aren't ideal for VR. Even if you buy the very best, you end up having to pay a lot more for a huge, heavy and noisy laptop that still isn't as powerful as a cheaper near silent desktop PC.
Unless you travel non-stop, it's nearly always better to get a decent Desktop for gaming/VR, and a basic cheap laptop for work/school.

there is generally an appetite for all sorts of avis, but normal ones are going to be popular but difficult to stand out. Eboy or egirl or furry avatars are a safe go to. Dark themes are going to be more popular too but allow the avatars to have varrying skintones if you're doing a human based model

General 1 was a bust. Got a friend with the "Invalid Code" from his 2FA. He's using Authy. This is the third of my friends who has had this recently, is there a quicker fix than contacting VRC Support? It's getting a little old with how often it's been happening to people in my communities and us trying to run events.

I just installed a 4060 ti 16gb. I chose this card because it's the cheapest card you can get with maximum VRAM (that isnt AMD)
Decided to take it for a test drive into VRChat.
Although the pug was running at about 40 FPS, alone in my home worlds appeared to be getting 250-300 fps.

This FPS was from OVR. The in-game FPS was display as 21 fps.

Is OVR's FPS counter full of shit?

That's more of a portal than a teleport, you can't freely teleport anywhere you want. Maybe you can find a working portal gun avatar though I suppose

Didn't really know you could alter movement speed on an avatar though, I know there's like a "dash" that's possible

There may be an avatar with what you want but I don't know of any, at least. You can try asking around more, or maybe commissioning someone to make one for you, or learning to do it yourself
