You look at a game like Second life, Theres people who rip in that game but the community is Tiny relative to their playerbase compared to VRC.
Everything in second life is proprietary so thats not exactly a feasable solution, but my point is that there can be a significant reduction of asset ripping done for vrc, its not magic code. Its real solutions.

Any other side having the same content means nothing by law for vrc

Imo vrclens still is useful. It offers a desktop mode camera that is a very nice way to do advanced photography in VRC

Also using the radial menu for specific things like focus and aperture is much easier than faffing about with the camera touchscreen

Quest can see IR since it's cameras don't have an IR filter like most cameras. But they don't use IR for tracking aside from position of the controllers which is why they don't have an IR filter. But headset position is not done using IR.

This does mean however you can play quest in the dark with an IR floodlight like you can get on Amazon for cheap.

Index can play in the dark regardless
