I mean to be totally fair, bsod typically is a hardware/driver issue. But you need to inspect your error logs and actually see what/why you're bsod. If it's actually EAC, it's probably a driver issue or specific issue related to your specific hardware, software, driver setup.

But have you actually inspected the error logs from windows to see why it's faulting or are you speculating?

Generally blue screens that happen often are a early sign of hardware breaking or software being corrupted.
A program like EAC should not at all trigger it constantly, then its not an EAC problem but as others have said, a your PC problem.

Sounds a lot like drivers/windows being broken and crashing because EAC is trying to acess/touch stuff that is broken instead

Do what MERC said, look at the logs, you can instantly find out whats broken and fix it

Yeah I don't actually have an issue with spawn stuff, the main issue is global spawn shit. I've seen plenty of avatars, including some of my own, that do something on spawn but it's limited by range so the effect is only visible to those closest and the audio fades rapidly.

To be more clear, you absolutely can't see quest avatars on PC nor vice versa. You're only able to see the version that was uploaded to the client you're on. If you're playing on PC, but it was only uploaded for quest, you will NOT see the quest version. This goes both ways. All content is entirely segregated from each other. Doesn't stop anyone from uploading a quest model to both quest and PC but each client only sees the content built for said client.

I'm curious about the reasoning behind this guideline, all the others make sense, but this one kind of stands out as a curiosity, and I'm wondering what the history behind it is: "Do not use VRChat as a medical or therapeutic tool, device, or methodology."

Software often has to cache files locally so that they don't need to be redownloaded over and over. It keeps specific things easily accessible for said program. Cache is often deleted when there are issues loading when something in that cache becomes corrupt.

Cache is temporary. It's automatically managed and files deleted and added as needed depending on the limits set for how much cache space is given to the program.

Deleting the cache won't reduce lag.

Deleting the cache won't delete anything from your game itself.

If you delete the cache, worlds, avatars, etc just have to load again. For example, when you first visit a world it can take a few seconds to load. But then you visit it again and the world loads instantly. This is because it was cached.

On the eac error, usually if restarting a few times doesn't get me past it, running verify integrity of game files will do it... Sometimes with a few more restarts. Once I had to go in and delete the Cache-WindowsPlayer directory to manually clear my cache to do the job.

In Windows and most operating systems, a folder is something that contains several files, or even more folders inside them. When you've installed VRChat, it created its own folder somewhere. Perhaps just uninstalling the game from Steam, then reinstalling it may work?

Ok so I got an idea. Mocap/FBT suit. Full body suit, using a few old webcams placed around the room to track it using colours like the PSVR 1. All wired up to 1 battery pack of about 4 AA batteries on the back of the suit.

I need to know:

• What's a good full-body suit to use as a base? Preferably not thermally conductive to make sure I stay as cold as possible to avoid overheating

• How many trackers should I have? Keep in mind I need them to be bright colours that are easily visible to a low-res webcam so I can only have so many, and not too many too close to each other

I hope it ends up being cheaper than a bunch of Vive trackers or something lol
