implementing EAC is literally more effort than not implementing EAC, and one option would not affect disabled users who use QOL mods to access the platform. There is no reason on gods green earth to do this except if you think EAC is more important than disabled users.

the issue of EAC is also twofold for me.

Staff were saying 2-3% overhead. But other people were showing 30% overhead.
I dont have 30% overhead available. Most of the time im in vrc on stream or making content. my frame rate is between 28-33 so with 30% overhead it would be unusable for me.
my usual resource load included. SteamVR, VRChat, OBS (in composition only mode, recording with external computer) SRAniple Facial tracking runtime. And my cpu load was about 90% avg. So anything on top of that basically makes me unable to be there.

Not to mention I already have driver issues myself and EACs tendancy to get a little weird with drivers also makes it a no go for me.

Given your specs nothing is too weak as to increase the likelihood of a crash. Your GPU isn't the best but it's better than I've played on without frequent crashing

I've played vrc for the past couple days along side this eac patch, I play on Quest 2 FBT and honestly the game has been performing very well compared to all the backlash its getting.. I've havn't come across any issues with lagging, crashing, performance issues like i use to before the patch, I've been hanging in popular public lobbies like blackcats, fbtheaven, several more for the past 2 days and there hasn't been any issues. I've noticed some creators are jumping back into vrc content after realising the backlash was just a bunch of nonsense. Can't wait to see what the devs release in terms of qot mods, keep up the good work vrc devs!

Instead of paint.net, might I suggest FireAlpaca? It's CSP, but free. Works just the same.

Yes. But you would probably need to put the bone in the middle of the bow. So you would be stretching it like an imaginary arrow.

Lotta people using steam. Have you tried restarting your computer? EAC sometimes doesn't play nice until you do. And make sure you're not using FSR or any other DLL injections.

I was getting 15 fps in a club world with 50+ plus.

low settings, all the worlds fps settings, all the dancers hidden and 50% render resoultion

Did you try rejoining the world? I noticed an issue the last few days where sometimes it would cap your fps at 15 for some reason until you rejoined sometimes

Regarding the driver timeouts, I had it happen in other games too now, so I think its the latest 22.7.1 driver which is causing it. I'm going to roll back to 22.5.1 and see if that fixes it.
