But its a vtuber vroid model so the textures basically 1 sheet and goes butts up if u change it i tried a fixer beginning with t but yeah. And only converter i can use merges hat to body so cant make a toggle. And its a whole body not seperate pieces

D4rk will assist with material slot duplicates and skinned meshes. Triangle count is an odd topic for those not experienced with 3D but generally you'll need to sacrifice quality or quantity somewhere.

It's important to remember for making a fallback and Quest avatar that you're expected to optimize for an android phone which comes with the limitations of that. Which means even 20k tris is far too much.

Realistically my suggestion is to use your university knowledge to install the latest Blender version and look up a basic guide on topology.

Once you can work with topology we'll enough, start finding loops you can dissolve. Quest ports haven't much reason to have clean quad topology in many scenarios.

The best advice you can receive without opening a wallet is unfortunately basic 3D modeling concepts.

Knifetool, dissolve edge, and an understanding topology flow are your friends.
