THE PROBLEM;
ALL Games launched from SteamVR stutter, not like constantly. Every other minute I get exactly and always two freezes, 0.5 - 1 seconds each.

At this point it would be wiser to do things like documenting and preserving worlds and avatars from earlier versions of vrchat, since as time goes on and updates change the mechanics some things will become unsupported.

I think it comes down to cost analysis from the investor side of things. Keeping the game open and accessible to many platforms and ages just means more users. Officially stating NSFW is not allowed and allowing players to have private worlds also makes moderation really complicated. Imagine hanging out with a few of your friends and suddenly realizing a mod has been listening to everything you've talked about.

It prevents you from joining instances flagged as 18+ only. It can also be accessed via Udon so you can have 18+ only areas in an other wise open world.

Automatic language moderation is a very exciting and interesting subject... I know because I tried to implement it into my Discord bot. But it's very difficult and there's a lot of nuisance and unexpected issues, like stuff you wouldn't expect.

It's better to have real people go over things which is how VRChat works at the moment.

I suggested using the TPM, which isn't a magical cure all by any means. However that too would cause issues as not all devices have a TPM.

AI can be applied to moderate voice chat and flag down moderators who read through the flags. It's not a perfect idea but this system alone would be atleast a start. Rec Room can manage these things just fine, surely vrchat can do something similar. As for languages, you set your language on your account. Add a warning system or a history system

Also a TPM is a Trusted Platform Module, it's a little chip on your motherboard that is used for long term immutable key storage. So if you get banned and that's written to the TPM the only way to bypass would in theory be either replacing the chip, or your entire motherboard.

Riots Vanguard is so far the only system that does these kinds of bans (that I know of). But I wouldn't be surprised if it came to other "hardcore" anticheats such as Battleye in the near future once more devices actually have a TPM... and it isn't this early adopter tech.

I remember trying out league before they added vanguard, the base game was basically just dota 2 to me, I found that turn based minigame to be kinda fun but I decided to ditch league alltogether when it would randomly blue screen for no reason.

'At-cost' was a poor choice of words on my part. But having dealt with enterprise level service contracts myself, it's rather common for better rates to be offered for larger negotiated contracts, which is what I was getting at. Whatever pricing is shown on Persona's website most likely isn't what VRChat is paying per user verification.

That being said, I still find it very agreeable that they lumped age verification into VRC+, instead of a separate one-time fee. You get a lot more for the money, imo
