I was expecting a lot of things from FF7R, but the lack of substantial scalability options is not one of them. If I had to guess, maybe they modify UE4 just for PS5 so much that they didn't put into account the scalability.

Titanfall was created by the OG IW dev team, which of course they would use some kind of mechanic to mimic the original movement of what FPS games felt like in the early 2000's. Apex feels good, the look rotation, the movement, the abilities. over all with this experienced team, they really understand what a game should actually feel like, rather than call of duty's recent releases. I watched game play of the speed of the players in the most recent call of duty release, it just looks bad. I cant even see myself spending 10 dollars on that game lol

Feels synonymous with a game dev who uses one engine and then switches to another. Excited about all the great things then start to find the annoyances and differences in it.
