I highly recommend enabling uv preview of the generated lightmap uvs as you step through the min lightmap resolution setting and click build

You’ll get an idea of what it’s doing
But generally never make uvs just for lightmapping unless your primary uvs are sharing texture space in a way the automatic uv generator won’t like.. and always use the generator even if it’s specialized

I get ya. Most soaps have most of the glycerine removed for use in other products. The good thing about homemade stuff is none of it gets removed and you can make it out of loads of different stuff, basically you make yourself whatever kind of soap you want, as moisture replenishing or locking as you like etc. Plus you get to go all hippy and add in whatever herbs or plants that may or may not have any effect whatsoever but why the hell not? 😄

The launcher just tried to trick me into thinking my project had gotten corrupted or something. I opened my usual 4.26 project, but the icon it had was the default Unreal logo. Then, the project loads up to a default blank map, I check all the content folders are there but empty. I freaked out before checking the folders in explorer. Turns out for whatever reason it was launching a copy of a 5.0 version of the project, and the launcher wasn't showing the actual 4.26 version of it.

Not massive fps, but decent. From what I remember it was around 40ish on average but would dip down to 30 every so often.

been there many times. Once I spent 3 months on a solution for a problem. I had to teach myself calculus in the meantime to solve it. My advice is take one day off every 2 or 3 days. Often you find a solution when you aren't trying and burnout will only make things harder in the long run.
