Play through it takes two! It's a lot of children's fantasies coming to life essentially, though it's co-op. Fun is fun, themes are secondary devices to accommodate the fun.
But also I think memes are better for self funding. Seems like a hard sell to convince random suits on it, but more likely to blow up on Twitter (see the Skate Birb game, which is a janky POS with no artistic or gameplay merits)

Jokes aside, depends on what your project needs. RPG Maker can do some cool stuff with scripts and go beyond the generic turn based RPG affairs, and UE4 might overwhelm you because the need to code everything from blank BP/C++

Yeah, the more worker threads demanding resources from disk the larger the problem. And with unreal even with unity builds there isnβt a lot going on per compile unit usually
