Basically, any non-balanced activity might destroy your back. Not sitting for long in one position, proper one, regular motion, stretching, exercises and etc help a lot. There are devs who have backpain issues and others who does not.

My top tip with obtaining them in weird places is to find where offices get their stuff from... if you're lucky maybe you even know someone at an office and can snag one that's being thrown away or is unused (as tends to occaisonally happen).... but yeah they can be pricy. Refurbished options can be pretty solid though

IMO, if the environmentalists had any sense, they would advocate for Nuclear to replace all fossil fuel plants over a 100 year period (cover base load and remove the carbon problem). Then tackle issues like cleaning up plastic etc etc that require large amounts of power (which you can now provide due to Nuclear base load).
The solution isnt going to happen in our lifetime, these things will take decades upon decades to move in the right direction. It takes time to build infrastructure. It takes time to clean up.

Well Tesla do have some cool styling but Im not sure how long that'll last, it was cool to have one and they have new models coming out but other automanufacturers have alot of years of design behind them. Not saying it will happen but Tesla could lose some of that fashion appeal if they cant keep the design fresh. (especially with so many being sold it will be like when the Ford Model T was new and everywhere)

1 thing going for electric cars is yes batteries are not the cleanest thing to make but they are not released into the atmosphere, they stay in the car
And if you decide to swap the battery pack 90% of it can be recycled and reused to manufacture new batteries from it
And Renault for example has a "Second life" program, basically after the battery pack was used in a car and degraded enough they will take the batteries and give them a "second life" in home appliances, industrial use, etc...

One of the biggest ones people forget are paints, in specific car paints. There isnt really a "clean" way to do that, or to strip them when recycling materials. Lots of "older" cars getting scrapped contain huge amounts of plastics too being replaced with Teslas, the ABS is recyclable but whether it actually is or not. We just need to think more about reuse like they used to
You can recycle batteries but the dead cells tend to get put into other use at some point though they cant be recycled. I dont think anyone is saying batteries are worse than combustion engines, just that maybe they arnt as clean especially if you are relying on recycling because we all know how well current recycling works. Seen a dead coke can lately?
But sure the recycling of the battery might not be your problem if you've sold the car, you did your part for the environment time to move on. Or maybe we should adjust the attitude to be more mindful of the planet as a whole, including where our things go after we dispose of them

I did not open the doc website since the summer, I'm also looking to source directly but sometimes it takes hours to completely analyze and understand the thing you're looking for and that drains my energy. I just dont like that

i mean sure, a couple years back, documentation was lacking, but its gotten alot better the last year or so
but the Engine is huge, and things change quickly
so its hard to stay on top.
not defending anything, just stating, that the documentation is not as bad as people make out.
Unity just has more "info" around, due to the sheer volume of people who use it for its "simplicity" over UE4.

I agree with you, I just don't like Epic's explanation about that. Rather than 'engine being undocumentated in my perspective', I criticize Epic for not working as much as they should. In the end, even if it's open source, they're earning money from your profit at some point. They told "they dont have time to documentate" in a live stream. For example if you were a studio that has some developers, you could save some money if your developers wouldn't waste some days to understand the source code.
