I think thats abit of a fallacy tbh, I know plenty of people who change careers in their mid life because they just got sick of what they chose previously. The reservoir will be in end tanks on the radiator. And you want your inlet and outlet hoses higher than the block.. otherwise, you can get air trapped in the pump and/or block... in which case, it won't work and can eventually burn out the pump motor

In SSAO it was just looking for geometry that directly occluded the pixel, so it could take one sample in random direction, and do that 8 to 16 times.

In SSR you take one sample, determined by the pixel's normal.
In SSGI you would take several samples in random directions, but then take another set of samples based on the normals of the of the samples you've taken (essentially bouncing around the screen). That would be super bad in DX9.

Instead of geometry information, these effects use the normal buffer. Which didn't ordinarily exist in forward rendering, but is already there in deferred rendering.

You could write a book or a course going over how to make a game with a similar number of features and stuff within 1.5 wk or something - material that any of his fans could sit through and have made a better game that would have better engineering & design - and lots of them would still vehemently defend him
Anyone who thinks he's doing anything novel or worth his following isn't just not paying attention - they're refusing to accept they've spent money on a charlatan

My friends didn't like how large Discord's Threads appear in chat, so I decided to compare it against an app that's trying to compete with Discord since we joke about it. It's a shitty app that focused on adding a million redundant chat features before they focused on performance or security. And I thought it was hilarious how large and crowded their platform is. It makes Discord's implementation look great

because if you have say three monitors and several windows spread out on them... alt-tab is not predictable so it's a bit annoying
