yeah music going digital and internet distribution utterly decimated the recording industry. They had to do deals with companies like Youtube and other streaming services to sell the music for pennies on the pound, in bulk, and then only promoted the generic pop bands that they could still sell on television. Which was infused with more importance on "sex sells" as a mentality. So a lot of legit musicians don't get a look in because they sell music instead of a WAP or some whips and chains.

Hey just saw your message. I'm not actually aiming to do any machine learning with UE (which is indeed python/GPU focused). What I'm most interested in is behavioral AI (flocking, pathfinding, fuzzy logic, etc) which is often imperative (where C++ shines best). Honestly, I think I'm most drawn to UE because I want to make something that looks nice and I think it would be neat to make some exploration type games where you can interact with agents who express these behaviors.

Guys, right now I'm using VS2015 to do a test, since the employers required to use SFML. I was using a template function, and, for some reason I'm not identifying, isn't working. I looked the information inside https://devblogs.microsoft.com/cppblog/c17-features-in-vs-2017-3/ and I read somewhere that VS 2015 supports a few C++17 features, so I'm assuming it doesn't support if constexpr, that, apparently, isn't working. So, I remove it. After creating an if statement containing a std::is_pointer<T>::value to decide how I would manipulate the data, the compiler is pointing a illegal indirection, and you can see that T was compiled as an int, but, thanks to a lack of if constexpr, isn't not discarding the if block of the if-else statement, where I'm dereferencing MinValue and MaxValue. I'm doing something wrong here, because I remember doing something similar in the past and you see something similar in the last comment of this thread https://stackoverflow.com/questions/14528902/class-template-with-both-pointer-type-and-regular-type. Any ideas?

Rifle rounds are designed to tumble when they hit something.. so that means they will deviate quite a bit going through walls... lead shot deforms quite easily... so it also deflects quite a bit going through walls... a pistol-type bullet is a lot more consistent for trajectory going though walls because of the construction.

I've seen some interesting, non-field use loading aids for box mags.... it's effectively a wooden board that's been routed so that you can put the magazine in it... put all the rounds in a slightly curved cutout in front.. and you just kinda... shove all of them in there
