I'd be bashing my brains out for days in the same rank if I tried fighting everyone the entire time, since it gives almost negligible amounts of elo until final 25. But final 10-5 is where it really gives you elo. Even then, at such a high rank, placing top 10 with 2-3 kills is only 8-11 elo, while dying without any kills is -11, dying with 1-2 kills is - 6-8 (both of those above 25-50 players remaining) and dying with 2 kills below 50 is either -1 or +0

Each game takes about 40 minutes (including queue time and awaiting for bus to launch time)

But joking asside .. to accomplish what i want to here .. i believe ill need to figure out how to extend the sim such that i can inject pressure.

Currently pressure is a byproduct of velocity.

So the weird thing is, that when i add in temperature and therefore create a buoyancy force upward, and that creates pressure against the air above it .. to my own mind, thinking of it from a physics perspective, completely backwards.

#

Or .. maybe i can stay on board that far .. but the thing is that there IS no actual persistant 'air' density -- the density grid is for tracking something being blown around within the air current

#

i mean, you can see this by the fact that there is no pressure gradiant from top to bottom.

#

In fact the gravity force is only applied if there is density in the cell (recall: density=particles not air), even though without the pressure gradient from gravity affecting the air itself there would be no buoyancy at all.

#

Instead buoyancy and gravity are treated as opposite forces (based on temperature/density respectively). This effectively creates air from nothing. When the hot bubble moves upward it should (but does not) cause suction from around it, at least. In reality, every part of this occurs backwards. Heated air does not move directly up creating high pressure above itself .. rather it becomes less dense, lower pressure, and the colder air on all sides of it roll in pushing it upward.

I moved my wall meshes from seperate arrays in a data asset to a single data table. So now it gets stored in one array, but for when the gen is decided which tile it wants, it grabs a sub array of just the tile types it needs (there are currently 5), decides which mesh it will use. But because its picked from a smaller array, I'm using a tmap to link the sub array ID to the main array ID. Most of the tiles are now showing up, but theres a few that arent spawning and the function that actually adds the mesh instance is reporting an invalid mesh ID

theres also a spot or two where it uses that sub array, and filters it again into another array, and once again I have it tracking the IDs.... but something somewhere has gone wrong

A lot actually. I use the mech keyboard for typing my stories. The keyboard behind it is to supply the function and scroll keys that my mech board doesn't have; neither does my half-gaming keypad.

I use the gaming keypad the most while playing.

So, it saves space.

But, that's not the primary reason.

In the tray, the keyboard's height against/with my arms is perfect.

It is a laser thing, but only because they failed hard. My left eye's retina was bleeding a little, so they were going to fix it with laser eye surgery. I had 1 course and they said, "you'll come back in a week for the second". 3 months later I got the "follow-up" (not the laser, just a follow-up) and they said, "nope, it's bled too much, we can't do the lasers eye now."

So now they need to suck all the fluid out of my eye, clean it, do the laser eye surgery and then put it back in without the blood.

On this stretch of the highway in the picture, C-pipes are the easiest solution, since there is a canal/river directly underneath all 3 flyovers. The water would just drain off down the middle into the river.

But, they just didn't put those pipes in, I imagine.

We'd come to India for two months every year.

But yeah, there have been some 'undesirable' odours over the years, but nothing strong or repulsive or anything. Just something that makes you go, "Meh," and just move on.
