Exactly, I use a points system for them to determine event levels and actions in response. IE take cover, find new area to fire from/take cover in/fall back to a direction no enemies(players or other enemy npcs) are detected, sometimes sit down and Slack off on patrol, change patrol paths, and have conversations with passing friendlies

Well, I just figured out how to delete the HLODs - that isn't mentioned in the first page of a google search.
You just delete the landscape meshes and stuff, keep some of the lighting to prevent black screen of annoyance, and then Build All Levels.
UE gives you the option of DELETE HLODs. โ Now, it's a nice empty folder.

There's a min-max method to Manor Lords at the moment.
- Convert your gypsy tent into a Temporary Worker Camp for 1 wood immediately, when the game starts. It prevents the opinion from falling under 50. Set up a market stall near it, so they can sell their own supplies to themselves.
- Build a storehouse and a granary. Follow that up with a hunting camp, woodcutter's lodge, and logging camp. Forager's hut can follow afterwards, if needed.
- You start with fifty pieces o' silver. Invest all of that in your level 1 plots to get 3 vegetables farms (15+15+15).
- Build a Trading Post next, followed by a Sawmill. Tell the traders to sell excess planks; set surplus to 20 or 30. Remember to tell your Sawmill to conserve 10-20 logs for construction purposes.
- As you build more housing plots, remember to use your trading income to build more vegetable plots and hen houses for eggs. One or two goat pastures for hides is also good, but not essential.
- In the technology screen, invest in ox plow tech (which you will never use) and get to Bakeries as soon as possible. Then, invest in Apiaries (for honey) and go for the Apple Orchards next.
- Don't build a Forester's Hut until you see a lot of the trees disappear. Your woodcutter and logging camp must be working in SEPARATE areas, and both these areas should be different from the BERRIES and ANIMALS zones. Set your Forester Hut and Woodcutter's Lodge to work in the same zone. They can support each other. Don't bother supporting the Logging Camp. They cut way too fast and there's plenty of other trees to burn. You can import wood after a point, if needed.
You will never run out of food, your peoples' opinions will be high, and you will get a constant stream of immigrants.
