A more full experience of space travel can be had in Star Citizen. Hint: spending 10 minutes in quantum drive to go from one planet to another turns out to be boring too. And flying seamlessly from the surface to orbit can get mighty tiring too

LMAO youre NOT doom guy. so basically the hell divers are actually grunts on the field who are basically cannon fodder. but to make recruitment quotas, the super earth government makes it seem like its a prestigious and powerful position and that you are given access to extremely powerful weapons. They even "give" you command of a super destroyer to help sell the deal
In reality though, the helldivers are just meat grinders who are sent to collect samples and requisitions for the super destroyer, which is the actually valuable unit. they only pretend to give you command of that thing, knowing youll most likely not survive more than a couple missions and another helldiver will be given command of that ship

you collect medals by completing missions, use the medals to buy stuff from the reward tracks. you also get the premium currency from the free track, enough to get the paid track. plus you get more drops of the premium currency during missions

Its a bug called the stalker. Its so smart, it actually wont attack you until youre absolutely fricced and can do nothing about it. it doesnt attack based on proximity, it doesnt attack based on number of teammates around you. it just waits, and chooses the perfect moment when youre distracted to come and two shot you

Yesterday when a fan died it got to 90C
