I think that for some reason the raytracing scene/representation doesn't match for whatever reason, seen it in quite a few places in the game

Maybe it's using a simplified mesh for the raytracing scene and it's different

Decals for example don't look like they are included for ray tracing, they are entirely screen space in reflections

Pathtracing in Alan wake as well, tho not as big of a difference for indirect lighting because they have a really good software raytracing as well

But reflections, shadows and specular reflections look so nice

For something like cyberpunk and alan wake that's slow paced, pathtracing is worth it for me, it adds quite a bit, especially dark scenes in alan wake

To add to this, I'm pretty sure most of the weird ghosting issues with pathtracing in cyberpunk is its specific implantation and not providing necessary information to dlss for rr to work properly

Because alan wake doesn't have these same issues, the only place I've seen RR screw up in a similar way is on like in game screens, keypads, computers screens, etc... I'm pretty sure it comes down to the engine not having accurate motion vectors for those

They looked pretty nice with RR imo

But it does trace against a simplified scene even with pathtracing

most difficult part is sorting the three points and triangles in the right order inside their arrays i felt, if you mess that up some faces are inverted and bla
