I feel like the og generation that played (I played it too, had a few thousand hours) in the beginning moved on but a new generation replaced it, it's mostly the youngest audience that plays it, and that's one of the reasons why I stopped playing it

When they kinda ruined the competitive aspect and started catering to new players and lowering the skill ceiling is when I moved on

But I miss the early competitive days of Fortnite
