I wonder if they will change considering the move to 64-bit floating point accuracy. Probably not due to the bloat in the code designed for optimising games rather than simulations, but considering the customisation level of the engine, the fact the rendering is a layer and can be adjusted and everything else is modular, I don't see why it can't be adjusted for more real world simulation stuff. I played two full playthroughs of it and had 2 bugs over both runs. One was a Panam mission where she would spawn inside the driver seat on top of me. But they fixed that. Another was a physics bug where I slid down some stairs like I was in zero gravity. But I can live with that because open world with physics means guaranteed bugs if you try hard enough.
It's actually shocking that it was so clean for me. I watched the wife play it on PS4 and it was buggy AF. So I bought her an xbox X and a copy and it ran fine on there but it was after the major patch that fixed most things.
