You know I was thinking about it and something that'd be pretty cool for the Germany rework would be new 3D models for German units. For example Volkssturm unit models similar to those of the Danish Freedom Fighters. Except this time it's an old-ass man with civilian clothing, a Panzerfaust, and a Wehrmacht armband.

Or maybe designs for the Luftwaffen-Feld-Divisionen if they were to be implemented properly instead of little more than a nametag.

Hell maybe even Waffen-SS unit models but I don't know if Paradox can do that without having issues.

Full german rework with different paths including fascist leadership + strasserist pathh, democratic overhaul (to include parties instead of one main policy of EU), Monarchist Overhaul (Hohenzollern, Bavarian Monarchy, German Confederation [split german up into each state, or make it so its a debuff of "states rights"], Holy Roman Empire). Communist Germany with spartacist uprising references between 3 leaders of Stalinist, Leninist, and German Socialism (think of it however), overhauled industry + military path, and better reichskommosariats + state rework.

What should happen is having decisions available to do secret staff talks with countries like Romania or Finland once they've lost territories to the Soviets (Bessarabia, Winter War) of a potential war of reclamation. The Baltics should also not be invited into an alliance, but rather after they get occupied you can help stir up resistance movements in the countries that can rise up once you launch your invasion. Could be a mechanic similar to that of BICE where some French partisan units will rise up behind the German lines once D-Day is a go.

This could avoid some major nations from snowballing their industry into something unmatched by anybody else simply because they offer the most of a resource.

You could stockpile resources and buy them in batches, the more civilian factories you assign to a contract the quicker the product is delivered. The less civs the slower it's delivered.

You know I was thinking about the German rework and it'd be cool to see a more in-depth mechanic added to Sino-German relations.

Basically expand the "Befriend the Chinese" focus into its own sub-branch.

Also make it more impactful. Like for example make it so that if Germany befriends the Chinese, China will go down the "Closer Ties with Germany" sub-branch.

Hell maybe even a military alliance with the Chinese. Get the Chinese into the Axis and you can help them reclaim the treaty ports, the territories owned by India through the Mac-Mahon Line and maybe even Mongolia, Tannu Tuva and Sinkiang.

Also the Tripartite Pact should be reworked. I was reading through it and it makes for some potential interesting mechanics. For example the Pact stipulates that Germany and Italy respect Japan's leadership in the establishment of a new order in East Asia and Japan respects Germany and Italy's leadership in the establishment of a new order in Europe.

It could be made so that if you agree to the pact you can't take territories in East Asia and Oceania as Germany or Italy once you defeat the Allies.

If you've already done so and agree to the pact these should be transferred to Japan.

Yeah, uprisings should also be reworked in how they interact with the Tripartite Pact.

Article 5 of it stipulates that the agreements of the pact do not affect any of the signatories' existing political status with the Soviet Union. So basically if Denmark rises up against Germany, Japan should declare war on it but not bring the Soviets in as it does in-game. The Soviet-Japanese Non-Aggression Pact should be left alone.

That said it'd also be cool to have the Japanese be able to join in on Barbarossa once the Soviets are near collapse. So if an option to occupy territory up until the AA Line as Germany is added, once Germany does the Japanese can launch their own war against the already weakened Soviets in the Far East and occupy the entirety of Sakhalin Island, annex some lands for Manchukuo such as Vladivostok and take Mongolia and Tannu Tuva for Mengjiang. Hell maybe even allow the Japanese to attempt to occupy the Kamchatka Peninsula.

Then we have cases like the USSR, so something alongside the lines of the Napoleonic strategy where you take resources as you advance could work to buff Germany or Japan that are going to be the ones suffering from lack of resources and trade
That way just like supply hubs you could aim to obtain the reserves from your enemy
But to counter this just like Russia did with Napoleon you can scorch earth and move the reserves to secure provinces, this could benefit Russia and China in the long run

Overall a lot of things need to be reworked when it comes to the UK’s colonies. Currently the peace conference system makes it too easy to dominate the world as Germany once you defeat the UK.

What should happen is that you can take the UK’s territories and colonial holdings in Europe, Africa and parts of eastern Atlantic and western Indian Ocean but not places like Canada, Australia or New Zealand.

These should essentially become democracies in-exile kind of stuff with a mission to reclaim Europe from fascism.

Yeah, it could also make it more fun to launch an invasion of the US as Germany. You will have to make sure your naval invasions go off and you can even go on an island hopping campaign through the Carribean and South America from central Africa or through Iceland and Greenland from Norway. Adds more fun stuff to do rather than just, invade from Canada.

If you have mil access from a nation you can set up your troops for a naval invasion order from their port and you can dock your ship in their ports as well

As far as I remember if using mil access to naval invade, the invasion won't launch if the country giving you mil access isn't at war with the same country you are naval invading.
