People always buff up their army as china or restore the monarchy as Brazil, it’s fun and more powerful. And the same will be for Austria. They’ll obviously get their historical focus path, but nobody’s going to do that, that lame and boring, everyone’s gonna want to reform Austria Hungary or perhaps even the HRE if that’s added as a path.

It used to be that if Yugo capped to Germany or Italy it would automatically form the Independent State of Croatia

But I think what happened was that either the Italy DLC changed AI behavior, or that the Yugoslavia facelift allowed the Yugoslav AI on historical to always manage to suppress the Ustasha before the war with Germany kicks off

During one of my runs, Yugoslavia was never attacked and eventually an event popped up saying something like “due to extreme pressure, Yugoslavia collapsed blah blah” and the independent state of Croatia was formed and the other bits where eaten up

Mainly cuz Czechoslovakia now has the oldest tree out of all the nations (whoever talks crap about "some nation like czechoslovakia doesn't need a rework," it has the most depressing tree alongside romania and hungary..) death of dishonor nations need a rework, plus germany needs their own rework also since the tree is smaller than Polish, Soviets (obviously since it has 200+ focuses), Italy, and the newer dlcs that got added... another argument is that Japan needs a better tree, while its true that the pacific theater needs a rework, Europe should be finished off first as a continent, so that it has a more stable focus tree and not an overpowered Germany, and possible "wunderwaffe" project reworks since that's still on the roadmap since 2020...

or it can be something we don't expect, only time will tell ¯_(ツ)_/¯
