it may brick your pc if youre running mods like Rt56, had happen to me a few times where the once a month autosave just freezes my pc until crash, so avoid going max speed on ironman
i play both, non historical is more random so you never really know whats gonna happen, but historical gives you an advantage if you know what happened in the country you play as
