so, each fight has a max width. If you attack from multiple sides it increases. Your units width decides how many divisions can fight at once. Its why sending 15 divisions into 1 tile dosnt blow up whatever is on the other side, only 3-4 are attacking (plus supply issues)

No, you know what's annoying to acquire? Supersonic Jets, Nuclear Missile Submarines, and Ballistic Missiles. Supersonic Jets especially, as Jets since Gotterdamerung are WAY overpriced. 7 Air/Avionics breakthroughs, 3 for Jet Engines, 2 for Axial, and 2 for Supersonic Jets is just too much when there's not all that many Air/Avionics techs to provide breakthrough progress.

Thermonukes on the other hand are not THAT difficult to get, BUT, you want to start researching Atomic Research in 1936, as that ahead of time penalty ends up giving a massive boost to Nuclear Breakthroughs in the long run because of how long the tech takes to research (just about 4 years).

When playing USA, you can experiment with figuring out what you feel is worth researching and building and what isn’t. This was my first campaign with Gotterdamerung, so I wanted to try some of the new special projects.

Note to self:

Stronghold Networks are crap, V3 Multi-Stage Gun buildings don’t have enough range, Ice Carriers take forever and are a waste of resources, and Modern Carriers actually have less customization slots than Advanced Carriers, which is tragic.

Also, Ballistic Missiles are nigh unobtainable, so it’s not worth going for them, and you can either have the fantastic dynamic duo of OP Mothership Fighters and solid Intercontinental Bombers, or Jet Engines, not both due to Breakthrough point cost constraints, which makes Jet Engines pointless now.
