it checks GER tag and GER subjects and will stack up with they control coastal states on the other side of the channel

there is an overall script that triggers regardless of which tag, as long as they are enemies and control the coastal states

but it triggers too late at times

especially against France, because they can control those states right from the start of the war

Yeah, I've been splitting my fleets. Destroyers patrolling, subs raiding, larger ships strike force in the area, but the range just stops 2 to 3 tiles in to the Atlantic and doesn't go further.

Idk if it's possible to keep only one task of a fleet under one admiral in certain port. I played mapuche Chile once with NCNS, asked Guatemala for docking rights, all my ships were in one fleet/under one admiral, and instead of putting a single task kf like 4 ships into Guatemala with ctrl+rightclick, all fleet was driving into Guatemala. I don't feel it's supposed to work like this, it can be painful when you have to keep those ships under stronger admiral and separate those ships into another FLEET, and even then they weren't putting any naval dominance. Might try it again later.

What I've been able to get to work is as follows: Separate Destroyers and set them on patrol in however many areas and SPLIT task forces. Then a doomstack will automatically strike force the area if in the same fleet.

well then, worry about the deficits now. ensure you have enough of everything before the war and, most importantly, make sure it's useful quality
if you have tank and plane designers, there's basically 1 or 2 designs you can use at most this late in the game (especially the latest)

if you have built a plane that's even 10% inferior to soviet's, they'll get shat on in no time as an example
