If you can't: don't spend any pp until you send attaches to Spain you immediately get >50 was and you have 150 more for war economy

technically its 33.25, but good luck getting a width that specific. You do 32-33 so you can fit 2 divisions in mountain/marsh tiles (the smallest tiles) while still retaining meaningful stats for plains, hills, forests (the common tiles)

25 is bad because you get cooked on forest river battles, and is only really good in mountain/marsh tiles

any range on 20 tbh, 20-29 all mid

Okay seriously, the idea behind it is that mountains are nominally 50 width, but in each terrain type you can overfill by 33% with a debuff corresponding to how much you overfill. Therefore in mountains you can fill up to 66.5 width, at which point you'd have a 33% penalty

Now let's compare a division that is 32 width to a division that's 34 width: the 32 width division fits in twice, thus 64 width with an overfilling of 28%. Therefore we get the stats of (1 - 0.28) * 64 = 46.08 width. Note how much steep of a drop you get going to 34 width
