I had a great time with them. You have a limited war theater with the Mediterranean. You can either embrace navy or retreat from Africa. Your allies can be strong if well supported.

And if you want to be fancy you conquer the whole balcan and spain before ww2 even starts and just stomp

Honestly the new doctrine mastery system may actually make Cavalry useful for the offensive
