Allowing you to unite china, then you want to create an airforce (license medium frame from germany, BF 110 which you can find in the infantry tab)

Change the role of the plane so its yours, use it alongside transport planes to invade japan (something like 32 width paratroopers should be the "best" available option)

You can force attack to retain org during attacks and combine it with CAS (heavy fighter with 2x light machine gun and 3 bomb locks)

These planes should have 900 or 990 km range allowing them to reach japan
