Except that, since hard attack only applies on hardness and AI divisions never exceed 45% hardness, there's really no point in trying to get any hard attack because you'll be better off concentrating on soft attack (you'll run into way more inf than tanks, and tanks will still get damaged by hard atk)
Plus, AI tanks are so ass that you'll always be able to pierce them with lvl 1 support Anti air in your divs, which you'll always have in the first place

in MP it's useful but not meta

It is a question of the entire division, not the individual tank.
If you go to the division designer, check the hardness bar.
If you don't have that many tanks it maybe only has 20% hardness.
This means 80% of the enemy soft attack reaches you and 20% of their hard attack.
