Singleplayer is much more lax in terms of what works and what doesnt. In mp, having the best of the best within the smallest margin of errors matters because at the highest levels skill is very very close together. So, sp being "corrupted" is simply wrong because SP strategies are just worse versions of their mp counterparts.
