This isn't a problem with HOI4. Lots of mods are quite unstable and are prone to crashing, especially mods that change major parts of the game. My only recommendation would be to contact the developers of the mods.

Not sure if anyone can help, but i am playing on steam with a macbook 2019 and the game runs fine, except whenever i click the details part of the diplomacy for Switzerland(i am playing as fascist switzerland at the moment), it crashed. It happened when i looked at austria too when i wanted to know the possible division amount. Those are the only two countries so far that have caused the game to crash. I am unsure of the issue. I do have another pc that has a lot better specs, but i am unable to use it most of the time as another family member uses it most of the time, leaving me with the macbook 2019. Anything that can help prevent the crash is appreciated.

Follow those steps:
1- Unsubscribe any mod you have
2- Uninstall the game
3- Manually delete the two Hearts of Iron IV folders, you can find one under documents and the other under steamapp. Those are the usual paths to find the folders

and under steam
C:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Hearts of Iron IV
4- Reinstall the base game again
5- Reinstall the DLCs

I want to buy a new processor exclusively to enjoy the final game without dying of old age from constant lag. open the diplomacy with the country you want to send your volunteers to and search for the option "send volunteers".
It will open a small tab where the game tells you how many divisions you can send, select an army with that number (or less) of divisions and give the ok. after some time your division will appear as volunteers in the chosen country.

this has nothing to do with being behind, that's an out of sync

meaning your games have diverged and you need to resync, which is what the host button does

That shouldn't be linked. OOS detection does so by comparing game key values at a given ingame date and scream if a player diverges.

mmm, I'm not aware of reproducible out of sync like this, we usually see those and fix these early, especially since Barbarossa has been out for a bit
I suspect it's due to a mod you guys are using

arguably a mod shouldn't be able to generate out of sync either, but they do sometime do unconventional stuff that we usually don't see with the base game and so are not aware can cause issues

So there's a bug where if you go down the monarchist german path and ask for danzig it doesn't give you a core on gdynia, despite giving you cores on danzig and poznan. I presume it's because gdynia wasn't a state before no step back, but it's still strange to have polish rebels fighting you in one state but not the others.

Guys, i need help especially from someone who plays the game on Xbox Game Pass, i'm having problems with the DLCs.
So, I've bought the Expansion Pass that is available on Microsoft store last Sunday (includes Together to Victory, Death or Dishonor, Waking the Tiger and Man the Guns) after downloading the DLCs, they show up on the game launcher, but when i started the game, there were no changes whatsoever, no new mechanics neither new focus. So i refunded it.
Yesterday, i was still willing to buy the DLCs because i want to do the Xbox achievements, so i tried again, but this time i only bought Death or Dishonor (because its the cheapest) but still the same was happening.
Does anyone here knows the reason why this happens? How can i fix it?
