Hi. When I press the button play hearts of iron 4 via steam, it shows me that the game is launched and then turns off by itself (most likely the launcher does not work for me). When I run the game through files, the game starts but I miss the launcher. Even as recently you can enter hoi4 with the option to skip the luncher, the game loads for me only that it is a stand without any mods and I just mean that the launcher could be launched because I would like to play on mods. I already tried to uninstall and install the game, deleted the files with the game, checked the integrity of the files, but everything did not work. Regarding the error resulting from the new dlc, I know that it is not because I have had this error for 4 weeks, i.e. before the release of dlc no step back.

Hello. I am not sure that getting cores via focus after winning a war, say, as Greece/Byzantne Empire from Turkey gives manpower from those cores.

I tried it with Greece into Byzantines and then Communist Portugal into Iberian Socialist Union. The manpower did not change after the events fired for coring.

Before the patch, my manpower would zoom up after the coring, now it does not.

Have manpower mechanics changed somehow?

Found a fix for this; go to Hoi4 in steam library, right click and go to manage -> Browse local files -> delete all files within it and then uninstall in steam. Go ahead and re install and it should be good.

If the launcher messes up click Properties and refigure the integrity of the files.

So I'm wondering if my game is bugged and am kinda confused.

I have the game through gamepass, but own all the DLCs including NSB.

When I start a game as Poland, my economy is not embargoed and I am able to bypass Clamp Down on Danzig and Ban the Nazi Party. Bypassing it doesn't remove the red circle around Danzig, and the city isn't treated as occupied and doesn't show a garrison or resistance/compliance.

I've been showing version 1.11.3.b175 with checksum 33b6. I am not playing with any mods. I also tried clearing the cache and uninstalling/reinstalling my game.

• If I research 1934 medium chassis before completing Treaty with the USSR, it gives me 2 free tank variants but no research bonuses

What’s odd is that I’m having some odd issues with HOI4 freezing up

Maybe try doing a full wipe by deleting all hoi4 files (don’t forget to move your game saves or else they will get deleted)

is it normal to have the game incredibly slow in 1941?
everyone fight everyone, but i never had this happen. and i have a 5600 as cpu. if i reload or restard the game, it goes fast 1 day then becomes super slow. around 1 sec per hour on 5 speed

Yeah that's just how paradox games are there's some mods that will make optimize it but you'll lose some nations on the map etc

Something is wrong with my computer and I think it has to do with Steam/ HOI4. If I try moving a tab from one monitor to another (discord or chrome) or just within the same monitor, the process of doing those tasks becomes slow and laggy. More like clippy... This has happened twice and its been after an hour or so after playing HOI4 (at 4/5 speed). Steam itself seems laggy. I have closed it via task manager and that doesn't resolve anything. A restart fixed it the first time and I assume it will help for the second time. All drivers are up to date. If this wasn't happening after playing a specific game on steam, I would have assumed this was a CPU issue. Any thoughts?

Go to Hoi4 in steam library, right click and go to manage -> Browse local files -> delete all files within it and then uninstall in steam. Go ahead and re install and it should be good.
If the launcher messes up click Properties and refigure the integrity of the files.
