I installed open beta and then went back to 16.4. After that I have problems with multiplayer servers. Once I'm trying to join server game is loading(at this point if you will click it will crash) and then typing "connection". I tried to reinstall hoi4 from steam and still I have this bug.
If I am the host, game runs only for me,for other players its just stops at Jan 1,1936(and they can't do anything also).

Hey, I have a problem that I'm pretty sure hasn't happened before. I was playing Ironman as normal and then I noticed that it kept freezing. This was because it auto-saves every 7 days. I've been playing this game for over 1,000 hours now, always Ironman. I would have noticed if I'd always had problems like this. I think I've had it in the past. And no, going into the settings and turning off auto-save doesn't work.

Hey guys, I'm having an issue with HOI atm. I updated my Mac Desktop to macOS 15.4.1, and now, I can no longer load up HOI4. It always starts buffering on "precalculating naval distances" while loading, and after five minutes, it crashes. I have done several things, such as uninstalling and reinstalling the game, verifying the game files, and starting the game up with and without mods and/or DLCs. A 3070 can handle HOI4 easily. I mean even integrated graphics can. CPU should run great and ram isn't an issue either for hoi4. So you'll be fine

Why (I believe after the most recent update) is my screen so bright and the colors so washed out? As I load into a game the screen gets super saturated with goes away after loading is finished but the screen remains too bright as shown in the second pic. Also, my refresh rate is stuck at 24 and when I try to change it it requires me to restart my game and when I do it's back to 24

The brightness might be a setting that somehow got enabled. Or that the game switched what renderer to use but you can change that in the launcher settings. The game being stuck at 24 fps is normal though. At least when unpaused. Since fps isn't that important so it sacrifices framerate to run faster

so, in hoi4 i was researching flame tanks, however the facility got raided and paused production of flame tanks, however even after it was repaired, the research for flame tanks didnt go up, however it unlocked flame tanks for me anyways, while saying that flame tanks were still in research. when i design a flame tank and try put it as a flame tank, the game gets abit buggy but eventually accepts it as a flame tank and lets me produce it, however the game refuses to let me put a flame tank support company into my divisions

Dlcs don't matter in multiplayer. Since the ones the host has are used for the game. So if it says different version you either need to update your game or make sure you're both running the same mods

Hello, me and several friends encountered a small issue when using nakama, the situation at hand is person A can't connect/join a lobby that hosted by anyone, but when person A hosted a multi, everyone else can join to person A lobby. We've tried to look for potential issue with connection/firewall but everything is fine on person A's side. Is it possible the problem could be from ISP or something? Person A already tried to verify file integrity via steam, and reinstall but the problem still appeared. For the time being we continued to play using steam connection

Anyone know how to fix a mod showing up in the launcher but not working in game and it also having no file size in the launcher? Ive used a github download for the mod which is probably why its messing up but anyone know how to get it working?

find the mod file in your local files and delete it manually then sub back to the mod and let it download (do not launch the game before it's done)
